We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, and of supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Tim 3:16). The Bible, in its original autograph in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, is without error in whole and in part (including theological concepts as well as geographical and historical detail). This Bible constitutes the complete and final written revelation of God: there are no additional inspired written revelations from God since the book of Revelation.
We believe there is one living and true God: an infinite, intelligent Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, but eternally subsistent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the fall of man: although originally created in the image of God, through the disobedience of Adam, man fell into a sinful and spiritually dead state, totally unable to justify himself before God (Rom 3:10, 23, & 6:23)
We believe Jesus Christ is the express image of the invisible God, which is to say, He is God: and He became man, yet without sin, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary: that He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sin: that He rose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified: that he ascended into Heaven in that body glorified, where He is now, our interceding High Priest: and that He will return again personally, visibly, and gloriously (John 1:1-18).
We believe salvation is wholly of God, by Grace: that God, in love, gave his only Son to die on the cross for sin, thus procuring the redemption of those that come to Him: that this salvation is not merited in any way by man: that God commands men everywhere to repent of sin and believe in Christ: and this salvation is eternal in its duration and results in good works. This salvation is offered as a free gift to sinners. This gift must be responded to in individual faith, not trusting in any personal works, but totally on the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.
We believe before receiving the free gift of eternal life, that we were spiritually dead, and God is the one who draws us to Him through the work of the Holy Spirit. We become spiritually alive when we receive this free gift of eternal life. (Eph. 2:8-9)
We believe God forbids Pagan practices such as witchcraft, fortune telling, casting spells, consulting with familiar spirits, interpreting omens, and contacting the dead. (Deut 18:10-12)
We believe sexual relations between a male husband and a female wife are a blessing from God. All other sexual relations are forbidden. (Lev.18:6-30)
We believe our relationship with God and one another is dictated by the following Scripture:
…” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matt. 22:37-40)
